Coming Soon on Voice of Grace...

Since as we were first hearing about grace some of the more difficult passages of Scripture to understand were cause of some significant turmoil and confusion to us, I thought I'd like to do a series of posts on some of those passages that seem to suggest we are still under law. Some of these passages I think we've already recieved revelation on, and some we haven't (because we haven't got around to asking yet mainly) but we've found the Spirit more than willing to illuminate the truth of grace whenever we ask!

I plan to take some of these passages, one at a time, and give our understanding of it in light of grace, as well as try to dig up teachings on those passages from various others who have revelation of and faithfully preach the gospel of grace. So, if you're one of those people who have got revelation on one or more of these so-called difficult passages and/or have a passage you'd like to see explained,or know of some resources where some of these are dealt with, please comment or e-mail me.

Though I'm the writer here (Aaron is much more a talker, as some of you know hehe), the influence of my husband Aaron is invaluable since we get more understanding together than apart as we wrestle through and talk out Scripture. Often we get new revelation as we're doing that, which I think is one of the more exciting benefits of dynamic fellowship (if you haven't tried it, find somebody to try it with, you certainly don't have to be married to experience the great joys of fellowship, though it's convenient if you're married or live with other believers I suppose...) I guess what I'm trying to say is that even if you'd like to have a specific passage addressed, I encourage you to go to God and ask for revelation yourself as well, it's part of your inheritance as a child of God and he's dying to show you so many amazing things!

So stay tuned, I'm sure this will get interesting!

So many people with a particular stance simply or downplay or leave unmentioned any evidence that seems to point the other way. What a great idea to address it head-on instead! Looking forward to it.
