The Higher Life

The wonderful thing about perfection in Jesus is that it is not contained within the boundaries of worldly standards. Perfection is contained in the power of identifying with the life of Jesus (our life) seated at the right hand of God. This truth gives us awesome power over situations wherein we would be seen as defeated according to worldly standards.

We never have to feel ashamed or defeated because of our situation for our situation is not the reflection of our state but His glory is the manifestation of the state we are in. Let’s grab a hold of eternal life and start to see beyond the 70-100 years of life we expect on this planet. We are more than what it might look like to the world. There is nothing this world offers that can add to the power that we voice in simply preaching and believing GRACE.

Paul was seen as a small Apostle compared with those that walk with Jesus yet he was the one that God gave the greatest revelation. Paul suffered the most; he was greatly persecuted by Jew and gentile. He was poor and suffered rejection of those whom he dearly loved. He was never seen as this great preacher by the church – he was seen as a troublemaker instead. This got to him at a stage but God said look at my GRACE (the revelation you have Paul) for that is enough.

Don’t look at the picture you think others see of you. Walk in the light of His strength that does not need any assistance based on worldly standards. We have been made complete in Jesus and need nothing but to be conscious of this truth.

Bertie Brits

Bertie Brits in Moncton!!!

So I already mentioned this a while back, but here are the details...

Bertie will be preaching on two night, Friday March 6 at 7:30 and Saturday March 7 at 7:30. The meetings will be held at 1212 Mountain Rd. Moncton, at Water and Wine Assembly who have graciously allowed us to use their building for free. Bertie is also coming at absolutely no expense to us so we'll probably have an opportunity to give for anyone who would like to support Bertie and his ministry. If you're not familiar with Bertie, he is a wonderful and powerful grace preacher who preaches the gospel boldly with signs and wonder following! I know I've already plugged Bertie Brits, but I'm watching the grace channel right now and it's AMAZING! You have to get listening, you will be so blessed and I promise you will experience God's love. He is preaching the true, one and only, GOSPEL!

And by the way, for those of you anywhere near Moncton (or not), we just found out that Bertie will be coming here in early March. Stay tuned for more details! I'm am SO excited! God's plans are so much bigger and better than ours...not to mention he gets things done much quicker than we ever dream!

Grace Stream TV--Bertie Brits New Internet Channel with 24/7 FREE GRACE PREACHING!!!

I think this is pretty exciting news! Bertie has had this channel in the works for some time now, I'm not sure how long, but I know a lot of work went into this. This is going to be an AMAZING resource for people worldwide who need to hear the gospel of grace. I love that it's absolutely free and I love that it will be bringing us grace preachers from all over the world, some we're familiar with and, I assume, some we're not yet familiar with.

The channel is still under construction and I think Bertie plans to have it completely ready by February '09. I've embedded the channel on my sidebar and I encourage all of you to check it out and if you like it, put it up on your blogs too. It can also be embedded on facebook.
